SUMMARY:VT CHEP: Workshop - Writing Compelling Grant Proposals: A peer-to-peer learning cohort facilitated by John R. Killacky
DESCRIPTION:Audience: All VT CHEP Partners Statewide\, registration is limited \nRegistration:  \n\nPlease note that registration is limited and closes on Friday\, June 16\, 2023\, 5pm.\nPlease coordinate with your local groups to register no more than 3 people from your district.\nThese workshops are open to all VT CHEP partners statewide. The VT CHEP will follow-up to confirm registration.\nPlease use this link to register.\nWe encourage you to have those that participate in these sessions share out with your local collaborative about their experience.\n\nWorkshop Series Description: \nJoin John Killacky for a 3 part workshop series for the month of July on Tuesdays from 10am – 12pm (Tuesday\, July 11\, 18 and 25). Each session will be an interactive discussion where we will understand the larger landscape of grant writing: types of grants\, sources for grants\, types of giving and receiving organizations\, range of activities funded\, research resources for grant writers\, etc. and b) the structure of grant applications\, the tone and style of narrative sections\, the format for project budgets\, and project management tools. \nWorkshops will include peer-to-peer learning and some homework in between. \nIdeally\, registrants attend all three workshops\, but if you cannot\, the expectation is that you watch the recorded session and complete the assignment before the next workshop. \nIn addition to the 3-part workshop series for the month of July\, John is also offering one-on-one support sessions from 10am – 12pm on Thursdays\, July 13\, 20 and 27.
