SUMMARY:VT CHEP: Learning Opportunity - VT CHEP Health District/County Videos - Due September 29 @5pm
DESCRIPTION:Share what the health equity efforts in your Health District/county have looked like during the VT CHEP grant. Highlight your problem statement\, examples of  how your teams have aligned your team policies\, practices\, mindsets\, resource allocations\, decision-making processes\, and capacities with the goal of ensuring everyone has a fair and just opportunity for health and wellbeing\, and if possible\, provide space for funded community projects to share what they have been working on. The VT CHEP suggests videos that are five to ten minutes in length. Any recording platform can be used. If you need assistance with recording and video sharing\, please reach out to Kyra and Cathy. \nThese recordings will be posted to the VtPHI’s Youtube channel and linked on the VT CHEP “Backbone Partners” webpage for the public to view. \nAll materials due to Kyra by Friday\, September 29th. They will be posted by Friday\, October 6th. This is not a requirement. \nGoals are: \n\nShare the amazing work of each District to improve knowledge of health equity efforts across the state\n\nShare accomplishments\, lessons learned\, and challenges you have faced\n\nContributing to a platform to allow others to learn about your work at their own pace and schedule\n\n\n Prompts to help create your video (not required to use): \n\nWhat are some key points to share about your community’s problem statement\, vision/goal\, and the process in which you awarded funds to improve health equity in your Health District/county?\n\nWhat were some challenges you faced?\n\nWhat were some of your successes?\n\nWhat were some lessons you learned?\n\nWhat are you most proud of?\n\nAre there a few community funded projects who can provide information about their project that helps support/explain some of the above prompts?\n\n\nSome platforms that can be used to record videos: \n\nVimeo: https://vimeo.com\n\nZoom: If you set up a meeting and make the recording to the cloud\, the link can be shared to be downloaded.\n\nMicrosoft PowerPoint: See this article on tips to screen record with this platform.
